United Methodist Women
Through study, programs, and mission projects, the UMW seek to fulfill this purpose:
1. To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ;
2. To develop a creative, supportive fellowship;
3. To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Last year the circles gave more than $3,000 to domestic and international missions. The UMW also prepare meals for bereaved family members and friends. Every circle meets Monday after the third Sunday of each month. Activities and meeting times are announced in the Sunday bulletin.
Circle I meets at the church at 7 pm, a time convenient for working women and stay-at-home moms. This is a young and young-at-heart, vital, fun group. Included in our ministry are meals for the sick and bereaved in our church and community. We are constantly helping families in need.
Circle II meets at 10 am in the home of a different member each month. One of our projects is to bring food for the food pantry to help people in need. We also contribute to the Mile of Pennies collected for the Wesley Glen Group Homes. Additionally we prepare packages of toiletries for our ministry to the women of Pulaski County Prison. Perhaps our most rewarding ministry is our visits to shut-ins. At each meeting we enjoy a time of worship and fellowship.
Circle III meets at 3 pm in the home of a
different member each month or in the Social Hall. We have a beautiful group of women who
truly love the Lord. We work on good programs, study, and respond to local needs as well
as those of other countries. Over the holidays we try to be a blessing to those who are
less fortunate.
