Through love serve one another

Christians are called to serve the Church, to seek God for one's vocation in the church, and then to walk worthy in that calling, "for unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, pastors, and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of" (Eph. 4:1-7; 11-12). Even though there is one body in Christ, we are each different members, accorded grace from God, and it is up to each of us to serve with diligence, mercy, and cheerfulness (Rom. 12:3-13). In order to serve the needs of the church and the community, seek how you might present your body as "a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship" (Rom. 12:1).
