Why Do Adults
Need Sunday School and Bible study? Because the Scriptures tell us to
Study to show
thyself approved
.
First United Methodist offers a wide variety of Christian study and fellowship for all
ages. Sunday school meets at 9:45. Here are the adult classes:
Mary Ann Meadows Class
James Chambers Class

Participants enjoy biblical instruction during Sunday services at 11:00, Evening
Worship at 6:30, Wednesday Prayer Meeting at 6:20, and Bible studies that are announced.
Besides Sunday school and structured services, Disciple classes offer an intense small
group study:
Disciple I surveys the entire Bible through a 34-week study with daily readings.
Disciple II concentrates on Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts through a 32-week study.
Disciple III follows with focus on the Prophets and the Letters of Paul.
The pastor also provides counseling for couples.
