Inter-Church Task Force Local aiding of transients and residents in special need. Needlework Fellowship Contributes to 5 local projects. Women's Crisis Center Provides safe-house for women and children in crisis. Camp Hope/Share Camp experiences for the handicapped. My Brothers' Keeper Sleeping bags for the homeless. A group of women from the Leah Circle have been making sleeping bags for the homeless for 16 years. They use donated padding and blankets with their sewing skills to provide a little comfort for the homeless. If you have blankets, padding and material to donate please leave them at the church or contact Margaret Boone. Africa Partnership Including Mozambique Children's Food & Chiquque Hospital. Habitat for Humanity Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. We welcome all people to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable, houses in partnership with those in need of adequate shelter. The Heifer Project The Heifer Project offers hope worldwide to families who are poor and hungry by sending two each of 15 useful farm animals on a voyage where they are needed most. Local Youth Mission projects Little Blessings Parents Day Out Little Blessings Parents' Day Out program is operated by the Children's Ministries of Castle Rock. We want to provide parents with one child-free day a week while giving their children a positive, loving, Christian atmosphere in which to interact with other children. Prison Backpack Ministry Provide essential hygiene items for just released prisoners. Food Bank of the Rockies Provide monthly volunteer labor to food bank which earns food credit for local Task Force. Eric and Kara Coe Missionaries in Russia Living Tree Project Provide Christmas gifts for needy families at South Elementary and gifts for residents of the local nursing homes. Easter Baskets A bright spot in the lives of selected church members who have experienced particular difficulties or sadness during the past year. Thanksgiving Dinner Provide food and fellowship for those spending the holiday alone. |
