A road sign on the Old Morgantown Road next to the church is a reminder to the journey of a pilgrim seeking Jesus Christ. The journey toward discipleship always ends in the water of baptism. The adoption of the individual into the Family of God, born into an inheritance of faith given to us by Christ. Remember the symbol. Our earthly, human centered life ends in water and the new road which emerges on the other side is the journey to eternal life.
