


Nestled on the banks of the Youghiogheny River just
south of the 'Yak' lake and less than ten miles north of Deep Creek Lake this
small community shares three United Methodist congregations: one on the
hill west of town, Blooming Rose UMC, one on the Friendsville-Addison Road
at the intersection of Old Morgantown Road East, Selbysport UMC; and the
in-town church on the banks of the river on Water Street, Friendsville

The Journey Continues at Friendsville
New Pastor, Sarah
Snyder, begins her pastoral ministry at
Friendsville Charge. She is a student pastor attending seminary at the
Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
Friendsville UMC replaces front steps. The top landing was enlarged and
a portion of the walkway used to add more steps.

Selbysport UMC restores windows. The century-old church completes
cleaning and restoration work on their sanctuary and bell tower windows.

Blooming Rose UMC repairs storm damaged
sign. Just in time for the yearly Memorial Service the replacement sign was
installed in the brick foundation in front of the church.
