United Methodist Church 2004 Restoration Projects

Steeple Rood & Steps Restoration Project Completed April, 2004

Needed Improvements Continue at Friendsville UMC. Following last year's restoration to the stained glass windows and the window framing the church adds a sloped roof to the steeple to solve water leaks; and replaces the crumbling steps to the church entrance. It is hoped that we will be able to add handicapped assistance to our facility in the coming year.

New Roof Added to Steeple February 2004

 Demolition of Steps begun in April 2004

New Steps Completed in June 2004.
