Sports

Friendship United Methodist Church fields a men's, a women's, and a co-ed softball team in the Calvert Christian League. The teams are open to those who are age 15 or above at the start of the season. While players do not have to be members of Friendship United Methodist Church, they do have to attend the church regularly.

Friendship truly honors the Christian spirit of the league, with fun and fellowship being as much a part of the game as winning. Players of all ages are encouraged to participate, and everyone who comes to the game gets an opportunity to play. Games are scheduled weekly and each is a doubleheader against another area church. If you would like to join one of the Friendship softball teams, contact the church office. And of course, everyone is encouraged to come out to the games to cheer on the Friendship teams.
