Music Ministry

Music is a key component of life at Friendship UMC. Our music department is first and foremost, a ministry. We use music to praise God, share the gospel, and serve our church and community. Members of Friendship's choirs enjoy fellowship and fun with their fellow singers, and experience the unique fulfillment that comes from making great music together.

With four vocal ensembles plus a handbell choir, we have a place for singers of all ages and experience levels! Come out and join Friendship's Music Ministry. All you need is a desire to participate and the time in your schedule. Children's Choir - Open to all children in grades K-5

Rehearsals will be on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:00 in the music room. Come join us before you go to Sunday School! Ms. Sandy (Griese) is our new director and you can call her at 443-968-2612 if you have any questions. Come join the fun and sing with us!


 Voices In Praise (Youth Choir) - Open to all youth in grades 6-12
Directed by Holly Reynolds Lee
Rehearsals are on Monday nights in the Music Room from 6:30pm-8:00pm for Middle Schoolers and 7:00pm-8:30pm for High Schoolers, beginning on September 17, 2012.



Shop at Five-Below and Support VIP!
Shop at Five-Below in Annapolis any time from Saturday, May 18 to Saturday, June 1, present a VIP fundraiser flier when you check out, and VIP will receive 10% of the pre-tax total of your purchase! Fliers can be used any time the store is open (Monday - Saturday 10 am-9 pm and Sunday 10 am-6 pm). Five-Below is in the Festival at Riva shopping center, a few doors down from Michaels. It is a store where everything costs $5 or less. Fliers are available in the narthex. Pick up several and give them to your family, friends, coworkers, parents of your children's friends ... anyone you know! There is no limit to the number of times someone can go to the store and present a flier, so be sure to have plenty on hand!
