An Individual Spiritual Journey through Time, Talents and Treasures
Stewardship is a responsibility each of us accepts when we become a member of a church. At Friendship, Stewardship is seen as an individual journey through one's faith. In offering opportunities for each of our church members to reflect on their spirituality, their relationship with God, their church and their church family we provide each member the chance to determine how they will give of their Time, Talents, and Treasures. How each of us gives is unique to one's faith and circumstances just as the old woman who gave all through two copper coins or others who may give more, but not quite all.
At Friendship United Methodist Church, we offer our congregation the time to reflect through two different campaigns: A fall time Treasures and a spring time Time and Talents. Our most current campaigns have been Mission: Possible and M&M (Mission & Ministry), respectively. With our continued support and offerings, our missions at Friendship United Methodist Church, His Mission (and Ministries), are Possible.
As we continue this Ministry, we look for other opportunities to offer our congregation how to grow in and share their faith. As Christians, our responsibility for Stewardship should never be a burden, but always a joyful experience.
