The church has set the ambitious goal of collecting 5782 pounds of food for the Dryden Kitchen Cupboard in 2005.
Our outreach to the community through the Dryden Kitchen Cupboard continued in 2004. We set our goal in January of collecting 1 pound more than we had collected during the previous year. We far exceeded that goal by the end of 2004. Donations for the Cupboard are collected throughout the month and dedicated the third Sunday of each month.

The church collected over 300 shoe boxes containing Christmas gifts for children. Our goal for the past couple of years has been to fill a horse trailer with boxes. These boxes were sent to Samaritan's Purse to be distributed through Operation Christmas Child .
Under clear skies, 41 members of the church joined for our annual Crop Walk on October 3, 2004. Thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors, Freeville Church was able to contribute over $1,300 to Church World Service. A portion of this will be returned to the Dryden Kitchen Cupboard.
Twelve of our youth, accompanied by a half dozen adults, are giving up their Spring Vacation, this year so that they can travel to western Pennsylvania and help clean up some of the damage which was left when Hurricane Ivan swept northward last fall and left severe floods in its path. They will be working with Hosanna Industries, to which they were referred by the Western Pennsylvania Volunteers in Mission coordinator, to help with cleanup, removal of damaged walls, replacement of wallboard, and painting. The group will leave Freeville on Sunday, April 17, and return on Saturday, April 23.
