Greetings in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  I’m glad that your Internet surfing has brought you to the web site of the Fourth United Methodist Church.  Since 1893 members and friends of Fourth Church have been witnessing to the transforming love of Christ as we worship and serve in the neighborhoods on the east side of the city of York, Pennsylvania.    After visiting us online, I hope that you will give us the pleasure of meeting you in person.
      When you open the doors of Fourth Church you will be greeted with the lively sounds of children’s chatter, the laughter of friends and the majestic sounds of our pipe organ.  Look around and you will see people of all ages responding to the love of our Lord, Jesus, as we worship together, study the Word of God, and make our faith visible through acts of service.
Browse through our web pages and you will discover that we offer a variety of worship opportunities, Bible and Christian life studies, and mission events that help us to grow as disciples of Jesus and make us a vital part of Christ’s church.  We open our doors to persons of all ages who desire to know God and to be changed by His love in their lives.
