AN INCLUSIVE, RECONCILING CONGREGATION

We believe that each individual is of sacred worth. Therefore, we pledge ourselves to engage in the sacred hospitality and responsibility Christ taught. We commit ourselves to maintaining a place of safety and sanctuary for all who come together in ministry and mission: people of all races, cultures, ages, sexual orientations, family structures, economic situations, and mental or physical conditions. Through the grace of Christ we dedicate ourselves to live out these commitments creatively, humbly and with hope.

Activities for Teens

Our teen activities are for youth in Junior and Senior High (7th-12th grades). Though we don't have a regular schedule, a variety of periodic activities are offered for youth. Past activities have included: sleep-over and movie night at the church; participating in Sierra Service Project together; participation in Volunteers in Mission service trips; "Urban Immersion" service with a focus on learning about homelessnes; a "Spirit in the Arts" week exploring faith, art, and community through the Spirit in the Arts Center in North Sacramento; meeting to explore faith together; and occasionally serving meals at Loaves & Fishes.

We'd love to have you take part!
