The
Fayetteville United Methodist Youth Corps (“Youth Corps”) is in its tenth
year of doing volunteer community service projects.
The Youth Corps works in conjunction with the existing Junior and Senior
High youth groups, and supplements the activities of those groups with certain
community outreach projects. ·
selling
white ribbons for the Vera House in the spring; ·
walking
in the Crop Walk in October; and · purchasing and wrapping Christmas gifts for needy children in December. Youth
members of the Board of Directors of the Youth Corps in 2007 are Alida Cooke,
Mary Cooke, The
Youth Corps welcomes the participation of any member of our congregation in any
of our projects, and welcomes suggestions for appropriate future projects.
