Disciple Bible Class Forming
First Class will begin soon. Dates for the class are still being worked
out and if you are interested, please contact the office as soon as possible.
Classes will be about an hour and a half long and will be in the evening.
Disciple Bible has been celebrated as one of the most successful initiatives
of the
United
Methodist
Church
since its inception in the 1990's. Seventeen weeks on the Old Testament
and seventeen weeks on the New give the participant a strong comprehensive
introduction to the whole Bible, in the context of a small group experience.
This is Bible knowledge that's not only about the history of God's
dealings with humankind in the Jewish and Christian traditions, but also about
how the Biblical message illuminates our lives today. This class will be
taught by Rev. Marti.
