Gerace has that event on videotape!).

Interviews Kathy Nason about her baptism and Church membership:
Kathy
Nason
doesn’t remember the details, but knows that she was baptized in the Catholic
Church of St. Francis in
Patchogue
,
New York. She was also confirmed in
that same church. Mrs.
Nason
later attended and graduated from
Syracuse
University, and then joined the Unity Church.
She was looking
for a church with similar ideas to hers at that time.
Kathy
Nason
migrated to the Fayetteville Methodist Church
in 1991, and became a member the following year.
The teachings at the Methodist Church are very different from the teachings she grew up with.
She enjoys going to bible study and sharing ideas.
Kathy
teaches Sunday School here and is a member of the Family Council.
Annie Parks
—
Annie
lives with her parents and her sister Victoria
. Her family is proud of her because
she is being confirmed.
Annie
is in 7th grade at Pine Grove Middle School. She wants to be an engineer when
she grows up because that is what her Dad is.
She likes Home and Careers at school because they get to make food.
She loves to sing and is in select chorus at her school.
Annie
Interviews Mrs. Shoemaker
Olive
Shoemaker
grew up in a small town. The church in that town was the Trinity
Church. She was six weeks old when she was baptized. Her
Aunt Katherine and Grandfather Harry McCloud were there. She was confirmed at the
Jordan Methodist Church. She is a member of this church. In the past,
Mrs. Shoemaker served on the Worship Committee, and was a Sunday school teacher several times.
When she was a teen, Olive Shoemaker was in a group called the Epworth League.
Mrs. Shoemaker especially remembers the support she received from this congregation when
her husband Grant died.
This Confirmation Class was confirmed at the 10:30
Service on Easter Sunday on March 23, 2008
.
