November Adult Forum Schedule

The mission of Adult Forum is to provide a setting in which to learn ways we might apply our faith to the real world.   Adult Forum meets every Sunday from 9:10 – 10 a.m.; usually in the lounge, although when we have a big crowd we may move to Homer Hall. All are welcome; no previous experience required!

In keeping with our fall theme, “Generation to Generation:  Bound Together in God’s Love and Mission ,” we will hear from representatives of several generations among us.

Continuing in our occasional series, “What You Don’t Know about People You Know,”

the following FUMC members will share a bit about their story and faith history with us:

November 1^st:  on All Saints Day, Hildred ("Billie") Stoughton , one of our most senior members, talks about some of the changes she's seen in her quietly interesting life. (Maybe we'll even learn how she got that nickname!)

November 8^th:   The Greatest Generation, part II with Peter Zarins and others

November 15^th:  New member Seth Jolly, assistant professor of Political Science at Syracuse University, will bring us his expertise and story on "The Tarnished Ideals of the United Nations: Ineffective Intervention in Rwanda."    Jim McKnight , host

November 29^th:  Hanging of the Greens!
