Adult Forum Schedule The mission of Adult Forum is to provide a setting in which to learn ways we might apply our faith to the real world. Adult Forum meets every Sunday from 9:10 – 10 a.m.; usually in the lounge, although when we have a big crowd we may move to Homer Hall. All are welcome; no previous experience required! God’s Love and Continuing in our occasional series, “What You Don’t Know about People You Know,” the following FUMC members will share a bit about their story and faith history with us: November
1st: on All Saints
Day, Hildred ("Billie") November 8th: The Greatest Generation, part II with Peter Zarins and others November 15th:
New member Seth Jolly, assistant professor of Political Science at
Syracuse University, will bring us his expertise and story on "The
Tarnished Ideals of the United Nations: Ineffective Intervention in Rwanda."
November 22nd: To be announced November 29th: Hanging of the Greens! Hanging of the Greens will take place beginning at 9 a.m. on the first Sunday in Advent. We will gather during the Christian Education hour to decorate the church for the Christmas Season. Everyone is invited to attend!! Soup Lunch - Please join us in Homer Hall following the 2nd service on November 29th for a Soup lunch! Family Council members will supply the soup, dessert and beverage - just come join us!
