been struggling for many years, we can help you begin to heal.

Sunday
night 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
There
aren't many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or
separation has caused. To you. Your family. Your friends. That's the
reason for DivorceCare. It's a series conducted by people who understand
what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you'll learn how to deal
with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
The course runs for 13 weeks and is repeated throughout the year.
We meet at Flushing United Methodist Church. Each two hour session begins
with a 30 minute video tape featuring nationally recognized experts
on divorce and recovery topics.

Seminar Topics:
An
examination of the typical emotional, physical and spiritual reactions
felt by someone experiencing separation or divorce.
What's
Happening to Me? Session 1
This introductory seminar helps answer the question,
"Why do I feel the way I do?" It helps participants become comfortable
with the support group concept.

Road to Healing/Finding Help Session 2
This video segment helps the participants identify
the losses that occur as the result of divorce. It also discusses ways
to begin the process of healing from the hurt of divorce.
