The Junior and Senior High Youth groups
at Fisk continue to grow! The group has some great plans for the winter including a ski retreat, many community outreach projects, and lots of time for fun and fellowship.
MYF Happenings this Summer for Youth in Grades 6-12
June 18, Wednesday, 6-8:30pm at Fisk UMC - Outside Sports night! We will set up the badminton net, shoot some hoops and play softball.
July 16, Wednesday, 6-8:30pm - It's a Cookout and Swim Night at the Hoyt's.
August 20, Wednesday, 6-8:30pm - It's our second swim night!
September 7, 2008, Sunday, 9:30am at Fisk UMC - Fisk Rally Day - find out what our youth will be doing in the fall.
For Youth in Grades 3-5
Fisk Step-up Kids - Where kids are encouraged to come take the step up
into action by being a friend to others!
The group meets once a month at Fisk, every 1st Sunday from 12:30 - 2:30pm during the months of October through June.
Activities include: Pizza, game and movie nights, making cards for elderly/homebound, Christmas caroling, participating in the "Relay of Life" and "Walk for Hunger" and fundraising for a cause chosen by the kids
(eg, phone cards for service people, monetary aide to hurricane
victims and missionaries in other poorer countries.)
