For Youth in Grades 6-12
Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to come on Sundays for food, friends, fellowship and fun. Lunch is provided and Fisk Youth Gorup meetings usually run from 12:00 to 2pm. The Youth Council meets the first Sunday of the month at 12noon followed by the youth group meeting. Youth Council meetings are open to all.
MYF Happenings for Youth in Grades 6-12
Sunday October 11 - the Youth group will be going to see the Movie "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry" after sharing lunch together.
For Youth in Grades 3-5
Fisk Step-up Kids - Where kids are encouraged to come take the step up
into action by being a friend to others!
The first Step-up meeting of the year is fast approaching. On October 25, 2009, stay for lunch followed by pumpkin decorating and other fall activities until 2:00pm.
Step-Up Kids usually meets once a month at Fisk, every 4th Sunday from 12:30 - 2:30pm during the months of October through June.
Regular activities include: Pizza, game and movie nights, making cards for elderly/homebound, Christmas caroling, participating in the "Relay of Life" and "Walk for Hunger" and fundraising for a cause chosen by the kids
(eg, phone cards for service people, monetary aide to hurricane
victims and missionaries in other poorer countries.)
