OUR VISION STATEMENT

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon us, because he has anointed us to bring good news to the poor. He has sent us to proclaim release to the captives and the recovering of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
(Adapted from Isaiah 61:1 & 2a and Luke 4:18 & 19)

For the week
Monday, November 24 -
Sunday, November 30

A simple prayer to start each day
during the week.

God of all,
as we live awaiting the fullness
of your promises to us,
we aks to be kept faithful,
strong in hope,
and active in service.
Amen.

Psalm 25: 1-10
1 Thessalonians 3:9-13

Key Verse

Be alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.
Luke 21:36

Something to think about

Quote of the Week

Let the seeking man reach a place where life and lips join to say continually, "Be thou exalted," and a thousand minor problems will be solved at once. His Christian life ceases to be the complicated thing it had been before and becomes the very essence of simplicity.
... A. W. Tozer
(1897-1963), The Pursuit of God [1948]
