Our Mission Projects

Manna House-Emergency shelter for women and children. Proceeds from various events during the year help to support Manna House.

St. Claire’s House-home for children with AIDS. Our Youth Fellowship holds an annual Rock-a-Thon to support this mission. In the past we have been able to buy a washer/dryer and screen house as well as give financial support.

Interfaith Hospitality Network-Emergency housing network for families. Our church serves as a host congregation for IHN-Monmouth. For more information on how to volunteer, please contact the church office.

St. Mark’s Soup Kitchen-We hold 2 food drives a year to benefit our local soup kitchen.

United Methodist Homes-Our Mother’s and Father’s Day special offerings help to provide assistance so people are able to remain at one of the many United Methodist Homes throughout the state.

Knit One, Prayer Two-our knitting ministry supports the American Cancer Society by knitting and crocheting hats for patients undergoing chemotherapy (200+ hats and still going!!), prayer shawls, and most recently, preemie hats for the Neo-Natal unit at Monmouth Medical Center. We meet quarterly and our next project, in September, will be working on the “Linus Project” blankets for children who have suffered trauma. Date to be announced.
