NEWS FROM FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, KIRKSVILLE

April 9, 2008

DEVOTION FROM REV. JIM

I know you have been waiting patiently for the news about your new pastor, there is info coming in this e-mail and will be more in the future. I know you will be pleased with the Cabinet's selection, and that First UMC will be blessed with your new pastor's leadership and continue to be a great place to worship, work, serve, grow, and give yourselves away in ministry and mission.

Good things come to those who wait upon the Lord!

Linda and I want to spend our final months with you ensuring that you know how much you mean to us and how blessed we have been in our eleven years as your pastoral family, and to say "thank you" several times between now and the end of June.

Hope you can attend the Estate Planning seminars Sunday and Monday!

See ya' Sunday,

God bless!

Love in Christ,

Rev. Jim
