DEVOTION FROM REV. JIM (written on Monday, March 3rd)

The ingredients of a WOW Sunday were present yesterday in the following ways:

First UMC's "One Great Hour of Sharing" special offering was over $1,300.00—that money will help many people in many places, including "Super Tuesday" tornado relief in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. WOW!

The gifts of special music offered by the Handbell and Combined Choirs. WOW!

The celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion!

The reception into First UMC membership of two A.T. Still University couples—welcome to Erick and Lauren Schuermann and Ben and Laci Schrant. WOW!

What an honor it has been to have been your pastor the past 11 years. WOW!

There are cardboard boxes in the Narthex to collect this money as well as a Lent Devotional Book from the Society of St. Andrew.
