NEWS FROM FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, KIRKSVILLE

December 21, 2006

DEVOTION FROM REV. JIM

There must be another word to replace my overused one of WOW, but I simply cannot think of an appropriate substitute for what happened here at First UMC on Sunday. Except for the incorrect title, the program was wonderful and appreciated by all, even the participants and leaders. The title should have been and could now be retitled as "Miracle in First UMC Sanctuary". It was indeed miraculous in detail, in planning, and in presentation˜what a special day, indeed, for us to enjoy and a beautiful way to open our hearts and lives to the Christmas possibilities in each of our lives and in the lives of those around us as the spirit given us can be given through us to others as we share our "light"!

A big thanks to Lynae and to all who gave us this miracle!

See ya' Sunday for another miracle!

Love in Christ,

Rev. Jim
