NEWS FROM FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, KIRKSVILLE
May 17, 2007
DEVOTION FROM REV. JIM
WOW! Of course, there is no other word able to convey our thoughts and feelings about Mother's Day/Confirmation Sunday, at which we talked about Words & Vows! We reviewed and renewed our vows as the Confirmands took them, and said nice things to our Mothers! When eleven Confirmands become Professing Members with four receiving the Sacrament of Baptism, before a full Sanctuary of First UMC family and extended family gathered for worship, it was, indeed, a WOW morning, for which this pastor is most grateful!
See ya' next Sunday for Senior Sunday!
Love in Christ,
Rev. Jim
