DEVOTION FROM REV. JIM

WOW!  Easter is supposed to be a WOW Sunday I know, but it still gets the pastor's heart full of excitement and joy and gratitude for our resurrected Lord, for a God who can fulfill all the nexessary needs taht we discovered we needed during Lent, to offset our humainty, mortality, and sinfulness, with divinity, eternity, and forgiveness—thanks be to God, and to his church in this part of the Kingdom, known as First UMC!  It remains a privilege to be the Senior Pastor of a great staff and a wonderful congregation!

See ya' Sunday!

Love in Christ,

Rev. Jim
Don't miss the Easter Musical, "Peter Cotton's Tale" which will be during the services this Sunday.  It is a Kids Easter Musical about who we are in Christ.

Thanking God . . . For Your Servant Heart!

First UMC loves its church family!
We are looking at expanding how you can serve at First UMC. More people could be involved on Sunday mornings.  There are several different ways to serve God in worship.  In scripture it says, “Doing the will of God from your heart.  Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.”  Hebrews 6:6b-7

This Sunday morning commitment is only once every 2 months. We are collecting names.  If you have already received a schedule from your coordinator, please follow that.
