Small Groups at First United Methodist in Kirksville
Bereavement Support Group The Bereavement Support Group meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Our mission is to provide support for persons in the grieving process - that happens through volunteer sharing, listening to each other's stories, and by viewing a related video presentation and having discussion of the content presented. Outside of group time, members often call on one another for support and find times and ways to care for each other. The common denominator is grief and a desire to be with persons who understand and will offer support! If you are grieving you are welcome, if you know someone who is grieving, please tell them about our group and let them know that they would be welcome!
50+ Luncheon Individuals over 50 are invited to attend a Luncheon on the third Thursday of each month at noon. The meat, bread, drinks, and table service are provided by monthly hosts. Everyone else is asked to bring a dish to share. Various programs are given throughout the year. The Coordinators of this group are Mac and Jill McCord. |

EMPTY NESTERS
Empty Nesters is
a small group for couples who have no children at home
meeting on the second Sunday evening each month at 6:00 p.m.,
unless other arrangements need to be made. We eat, enjoy and
share the Great God in our lives with fun and mission activities. Watch
for details in the calendar.

Cancer Support Group This group meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. for individuals who have cancer, have had cancer, or know someone that has cancer. |
