In Closing

How can we thank those who have seen to the sometimes difficult, thankless job of record keeping, scrapbook keeping, picture-taking, memorabilia protecting, mind-jarring, question-asking and recording of our wonderful spiritual heritage?

Although many people helped in fulfilling the dream of a detailed history, we would never be able to name them all -- so we won't begin to try. We do (at the risk of words not being able to suffice) say, "Thank You" to all of you who helped make this project possible.

Our reward will be that when we are long gone from the halls of this church, the history and heritage that our generation and the generations before us have made in the scope of carrying on of our Lord's gospel will be available to those of the future church to be able to see and know that our Lord was at work in all that we set to do in the First United Methodist Church of DeLeon, Texas.

With that said, God bless all those who look into the pages of these, our memories, to find our hope in our past and our future.
