Angel Breakfast at Fields Church. The Angel Breakfast is an event for families to begin the Christmas season with a focus on the birth of Jesus. Angel Breakfast is for the children of our church and their parents and/or grandparents. During Angel Breakfast families will make a craft, sing Christmas songs, have their picture taken, listen to the story of Jesus' birth and eat a delicious breakfast. Breakfast Menu: breakfast casseroles, biscuits and gravy, donuts, fruit salad, apple juice, orange juice and coffee. If you would like to make a food donation towards our Angel Breakfast please contact Diana Miller at 540-896-2472. Families planning on attending please let Diana Miller know how many. Hope to see you all there.

Fields United Methodist Church Christmas program "The First Christmas"
There will be a light supper to follow and we inviting you all to come out and support the children and the young adults in our church. Parts are being handed out and if you cannot participate please let Diana Miller know. The following is a schedule of rehearsals and prop preparation. These dates and times may change. All your help is needed to make this program a wonderful event.
November 25 and 26 - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Prop Preparation
December 5 - 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Rehearsal for Everyone
December 6 - 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Play setup
December 6 - 4:00 p.m. - Dress in Costume
December 6 - 5:00 p.m. - Play begins
 

 

Page One wants you! Are you interested in giving maybe 3 or 4 hours a week of your time to PageOne? The organization is seeking individuals from Christ and Fields Churches to volunteer their time. If you are interested, please call Phyllis Roberston at 652-4482, to set up an interview.
 
Help! We can always use your plastic containers (such as empty sour cream containers, empty butter containers, etc.) down in the kitchen. They are really needed when we have luncheons, dinners, etc.
Fields Church Coffee Mugs - They're Here and You Need One!  - $5.00 each - See Jennifer Adams to get your mug today. (These mugs will also be given to our visitors. Proceeds from the sale of the mugs will be designated to help with cost offset.)

United Methodist Women Mission Project
Save aluminum cans and/or tabs, or other aluminum - foil, pie pans, etc. for the Lighthouse Children's Center at Furnace UMC. Give your aluminum to Susan Painter.

As a reminder, postage stamps that the United Methodist Women collect should have a 1/4inch border around the stamp in order to be validated.
The procedure for saving Campbell Soup Labels has changed. As of June 2, 2006, the front product label will not be accepted. The UPC symbol is the only portion that will be accepted.
