Musical Notes

Ferndale United Methodist Church is proud of its two choirs.  The Joyful Noise Choir is made up of boys and girls from age 5-12.  They rehearse on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:00 PM.  Once a month they sing at the 10:30 am service for the congregation.  Sometimes the boys and girls accompany themselves with various musical instruments.

Our Adult Choir also practices on Thursday evenings from 7:15-9:00 PM.   They work very hard because they sing every Sunday during the offering. The Adult Choir starts at age 16.

Both groups are seeking new members.  The only qualifications necessary are faithful attendance on Thursday evenings and a willingness to praise God through your singing.  It is not necessary to be able to read music.  The choir sings from September through June then takes a short summer rest.
