Lil' Lambs Ministry 2007 Report
"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do."

The mission of the Lil' Lambs ministry is to supply the basics for children
in need and their families. In fulfilling this mission we hope God will use
us to spread His light into our community and beyond as scripture says,
"For whatever is born of God overcometh the world;
and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."
1 John 5:4
And we give God all the Glory and praise His Holy name
"Oh, give thanks unto the Lord; call upon His name;
make known His deeds among the peoples.
Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him;
talk ye of all His wondrous works."
Psalms 105:1-2
In 2007 The Lil' Lambs Gross Sales were over $157,000!

Phone registrations following the seller
registration date have become very time consuming.
We will NOT be taking seller registrations over the phone.
If you want to be a seller in the Spring/Summer Sale,
you need to come to the seller registration occuring on
Thursday, February 7th, 6:00 - 8:00pm.
IF there are seller numbers left and you miss February 7th,
you may come to the church on Tuesday, February 12th, 6:00 - 7:00pm.
We plan to do this on Tuesdays following the
Thursday registration date for each sale.
Please spread the word!

Car Seats that are more than 5 years old or have ever been in
a wreck are considered unsafe and will not be accepted in the sale.

We wish to recognize our soldiers and their families

Our clothing sales feature children's sizes newborn to 14, maternity clothes, and nursery items including: strollers, baby furniture, car seats, playpens, gates and more.

We praise God and thank Him for allowing the
Lil' Lambs Closet to make a difference in the
lives of children and their families.
The United Methodist ministries that received over
$28,500 in financial donations include:
Charlie and Alma Thompson College Scholarship Fund,
Reach Youth work camp,
Winfield UMC Youth work camp, UM New Life Camp for Moms (CDOM),
Avesta Drive (CDOM), Heart & Hand (CDOM),
Mission Outreach - Child Evangelism Fellowship Project,
Forrest Burdette Children's ministries and mission projects,
Forrest Burdette Preschool Scholarships, Nothing but Nets (UM project),
Phone Cards for troops (United Methodist project), Sunday School room carpet,
Eagle Scout Project to improve Forrest Burdette playground areas,
3 Memory Leaves, Habitat for Humanity Challenge,
and Mission's Outreach Thanksgiving baskets.
The ministries and charities outside of the United Methodist
umbrella that received over $15,000 in financial donations include:
Diabetic Camp for local child, River Cities Therapeutic riding Center,
Supplies for Putnam County Domestic Violence victims,
Little Life Preschool & Daycare,
Presbyterian Church of the Covenant ABRO project (Belarus children project),
Rescue Mission for Teens, and families in need.
** Proceeds from the toy sale are used to purchase Christmas gifts for children in need.
Lil' Lambs also gives back to the community through the many donations of items received:
Clothing was donated to:
the clothing bank in Milton, the Forrest Burdette Preschool,
and several individual families in need.
Baby blankets and baby items were donated to the Bundles for Babies Project.
Toys (including books) were donated to:
the Forrest Burdette nursery,
the Forrest Burdette Preschool, Hurricane Town Elementary,
Teays Valley Christian School, Putnam County Library,
Sojourners homeless shelter, and families in need.
