Lil' Lambs Volunteer & Shop Early

This ministry could not be successful without the many people who volunteer of their time during the sale. We show our appreciation by giving you the opportunity to shop Thursday evening before the sale opens to the public on Friday. The following are the Thursday shop times according to the number of shifts worked.

A volunteer working 3 shifts with one being Saturday 12:00 - 4:00pm
Shop time 4:30 - 6:00pm

A volunteer working 1 or 2 shifts and is a registered seller
Shop time 6:00 - 7:30pm

Those who do not sell, but volunteer to work 1 or 2 shifts
Shop time 7:30 - 9:00pm

If you are not a registered seller, we require a $3:00 early shopping fee.

Tuesday evening, Wednesday all day and
Thursday morning shiftwork includes:
inspecting clothes and items for stains, tears, etc;
and placing items on racks according to size.

Thursday 12:00 - 3:00pm shiftwork includes:
organizing clothes, socks and shoes according to size;
organizing big items (nursery items, car seats, strollers, etc.);
removing check-in tables and preparing the floor for shopping;
and checking big items for recalls.

Thursday 4:00pm - 9:30pm shiftwork includes:
helping shoppers with hold items;
keeping track of how long items are on hold;
and checking out shoppers and bagging items.

Friday and Saturday morning shiftwork includes:
helping shoppers with hold items;
keeping track of how long items are on hold;
checking out shoppers and bagging items;
replacing loose item tags;
making sure items are still in the correct size on the rack;
and consolidating boys items/nursery items to upper level with girls items (Friday afternoon).

Saturday afternoon shiftwork includes:
tearing down racks, cash registers, tables, etc;
separating leftover items according to seller number;
reconciling inventory sheets;
calculating inventory sheets and check amounts;
organizing donated items;
and cleaning sale area, nurseries, and getting church back in tip-top shape.

The following shifts are available the week of the sale.
