Finance Meeting Has Been Cancelled The Finance Team has cancelled their meeting tonight due to Mother’s Day. Next month’s meeting is scheduled for June 8th.
Ministry Team Will Meet The Ministry Team will meet this Tuesday, May 13th, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 111.
The Hurricane Civic Chorus Concert The Hurricane Civic Chorus will be presenting their concert this Saturday, May 17th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. They would like to extend an invitation to everyone to attend.
Attention All Children! Next Sunday, May 18th, is Goldfish Sunday. You may stop by Byrd Hall after the morning worship services (8:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and after the Sunday School hour to pickup your goldfish!
Forrest Burdette Graduating Seniors On June 1st, the church will be honoring all Forrest Burdette Graduates. If you are graduating from High School or College, we would like for you to let the church office know as soon as possible. Forms for you to complete can be found in the Narthex.
Prop Party II VBS “Power Lab” is coming soon – June 16th to 20th. We will be having a special Pizza/Prop Party on Wednesday, May 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. in Byrd Hall. We welcome anyone who can join us for this fun evening of working on incredible VBS projects. The projects include t-shirt iron-ons and painting the remaining styrofoam props. We really, really, really need you!
Support for Camp Happy Valley Donations are needed for Camp Happy Valley. Rachel Krall has volunteered to head Forrest Burdette’s drive. There will be children from ages 7 to 14 attending the camp and they come in all sizes, usually with only the clothes they are wearing. Please do not donate winter or infant clothes, as there is no place at the camp to store these items. A listing of the items needed is posted in the narthex. All items must be washed and clean.

Name Tags are located inside the Friendship Registers in each pew. Please wear one each Sunday so that people can greet you by name. We would also like for you to place your address and phone number in the register. Hearing Assistance Devices are available for your use.
