Leadership Workshops The Fayetteville District recently gathered for our annual Leadership Training Worshops. The worshops were held at Haymount United Methodist Church, January 9, 2005. More than 200 people attended the 13 workshops available. Lay Rally The Fayetteville District Lay Rally was be held March 20, 2005 at Salem United Methodist, from 3-5pm. The speaker was Bishop Al Gwinn. More that 375 people came to enjoy this afternoon, and close to 200 people stayed for more as they enjoyed a meal together. Fayetteville District Choir Festival This year the Fayetteville District started something new. On Sunday, April 17, 2005 people from the Fayetteville District churches as well as groups from area AME and AME Zion churches gathered at Hay Street UMC for an afternoon of music, followed by a "Internatonal Flare" Reception. More than 450 people came out to join in this celebration.
