SPECIAL EVENTS
SPRING OUTSIDE CLEAN-UP DAY on May
3rd starting at 8:00 AM - The Trustees are asking for your
help to do outside Spring clean-up to the church grounds.
Volunteers are needed to help. Supplies needed: hoes, rakes,
shovels, and wheelbarrows. Mulch will be provided to
spread. Please come and help make the job lighter and easier to
all.
USED BOOKS WANTED by May 3rd - Please place new or used book donations in boxes under the coat racks by May 3rd to sales at the Faith Day Book Table on May 10th.
FAITH DAY -
Chicken Barbecue and Garage Sale & Book Sale on May 10th from 8AM
to 2 PM - Tell your family, friends, and neighbors to come out
and support our Community Faith Day event. In addition to the
Chicken BBQ, there will will side dishes, sodas/water, backed goods
available (please sign-up for food donations). There will be a
Hot Dog stand, a Flower-and-Plant Stand, and a Used-Book Stand.
Bring your used books no later than May 3rd! The youth will have
a stand of used items. See a member of the Faith Youth Group or
their advisers for more information. You can rent a yard sale
space. A 10 X 10 foot space is $20.00. Maybe you have
friends who would like to set-up a stand. If so, please contact
Barry or Terry Kofroth at 626-4251 as soon as possible. LOTS OF
HELP IS NEEDED, including setting up and tearing down. Can you
bring a cooler or ice chest for us to use that day (mark with your
name)? If you can't help that day, you can still do your part by
selling chicken barbecue tickets ahead of the date. Be sure to
get your Chicken BBQ tickets from the Church Office or Bob Bricker
(295-4785) for chicken pre-sales at $4.50 each. In any case,
please come and spend part of your day with our Faith Family and enjoy
the fun and fellowship with your neighbors.
2008 SUNDAY SCHOOL / SHARING
TIME 9:00
AM - Sunday School programs are available for all
ages. All are welcome to attend this year's program of learning
and sharing groups.
ARE YOU A GOOD LISTENER? Do you know someone in the congregation who could use a visit, a helping hand, or a caring heart? Is someone in the hospital or at home with limitations? Have they experienced a death in the family, a loss of a job, or are they in spiritual crisis? These are the people we want to touch with our ministry we call “Caring Hands of Faith”. It only takes an hour or two a week and a desire to help! No experience needed!! For more information, or to sign-up, talk to Pastor Bruce or Laura Hess.
