LORD'S CUPBOARD VOLUNTEERS The Appanoose County Lord's Cupboard will be having a volunteer training session on Saturday, November 21 at 2:00 PM at Faith UMC. This would be an excellent time to become a volunteer. Volunteers are needed for Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday mornings, 9:00-11:30 am and at other times for special needs. THANKSGIVING SERVICE The Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service will be on Sunday, November 22, 6 PM at the Drake Avenue Christian Church in Centerville. This service will be sponsored by the Appanoose County Ministerial Association. ADVENT DECORATING EVERYONE please come to the church on Tuesday, November 24, 5:30 pm to help clean up, decorate for the Advent season, and have supper together. Bring a snack or dessert item to share. Soup will be provided. CHURCH CONFERENCE The fall charge conferences for the Appanoose County United Methodist Churches will be on Sunday, November 29, 2:30 PM at First United Methodist Church in Centerville. Everyone is invited. MISSIONS SALE The Mission Committee will sponsor a Christmas Cookie Walk, Bake Sale, and Craft Sale on Saturday, December 5, 9:00 AM - Noon. This sale will be open to the public. Please sign up to bring cookies and all sorts of goodies. The sale will continue for our congregation on Sunday morning. Proceeds will go to the Appanoose County Lord's Cupboard and for salary support for our missionary, Peg Egbert.
