GIFT CARDS

We participate in a Gift Card program through Great Lakes Scrip. Church members may purchase gift cards through the church for various businesses and a percentage of the proceeds from the gift card comes back to the church. It’s a way to earn money for the church while buying the things that your family usually buys anyway. In addition it’s also a good way to do your birthday or Christmas shopping for family members and friends. FOR EXAMPLE: Sue usually spends $200 a month on groceries at Winn Dixie and $100 a month at Walgreens on her prescriptions. She writes the church a check for $300 at the beginning of the month to purchase Winn Dixie and Walgreens gift cards. She is able to use those to purchase her groceries and prescriptions, while at the same time the retailers give the church back 5% or $15 of Sue’s purchase. TO PURCHASE GIFT CARDS: Order forms are available on the table in the narthex or on the table in the hallway by the church office. Completed order forms may be turned into the office, or you may contact Wendy Bath. RETAILERS AVAILABLE: On the right is a list of some of the retailers that we have gift cards available from for purchase.
