Our History
Faith United Methodist Church has a rich heritage of consolidation and growth.

Arlington Heights Chapel and Wesley Chapel became one body in 1965, known as Arlington-Wesley Church. In 1977, the Methodist congregations of Arlington-Wesley and Mt. Zion Church became a two-point charge known as Trinity Parish, and by 1981 the two had merged to become Faith United Methodist Church.

Immediately, a new sanctuary was planned and constructed.

The present building was dedicated in March, 1985 with Rev. Leon G. Bird becoming the first Pastor of the new church. Succeeding pastors were Rev. Kenneth Heller and Rev. Salim Khan, Rev. Joseph Barth. Currently, Carrie Ann Wood is Pastor of Faith United Methodist Church.

Today, Faith Church nurtures its growing congregation with vital Ministries - Pastoral, Music, Missions, Education and Fellowship. Special concerns for children and youth; the sick, shut-in and elderly provide a strong support system for all those who worship at Faith Church.
