Vacation Bible School will be July 28 – August 1
at Fairhaven! Our VBS campers will be on a
‘Rainforest Adventure’ learning about God’s love for them, so
mark your calendars now! For more information, see Kelley
Rogers or Jean Sansonetti. There are brochures for anyone who
is interested in VBS, on the Narthex table.
School's (almost) out!
Sunday School has moved to the summer 'One Room' format
and schedule. There is no Sunday school before the worship
service, but children are invited to join us for the summer
program following Children's Moment in the service. We need
volunteers to help teach, so please sign up on the bulletin
board so that our regular teachers get a vacation too! Thanks,

Celebrate our 40th Homecoming
Anniversary -
On Sunday, September 14, 2008, we will
celebrate our 40th Homecoming Anniversary. This event is worthy
and significant to the history of Fairhaven as a United church.
Recommendations for a guest speaker or service format would be
appreciated. My hope is that all of the committees of the
church will be involved in some way. Examples: a special 40th
Anniversary banner; a plaque listing past and present ministers,
gift bags for visitors. Anyone interested is invited to
meet on Sunday, June 22 following the service.
