Flower Garden

The Creation of The Samual Adam Cassity Memorial Flower Garden was conceived by Ms. Kathy Akey, was funded by family, friends and members of The TUMC. Landscape design was provided by David Brown & Dan Casselberry and the landscaping itself was put together by volunteers. The garden has 26 rose bushes for each of Samuel's living years. Several Azalea bushes also reside at each end of the garden. A set of Paulo Soleri bronze windbells hang at the western end of the garden. At the center and eastern end of the garden, 2 sets of Corinthian Bell Windchimes provide beautiful musical tones at the urgeing of the breeze.Samuel was a true lover of animals, 3 statues are strategically placed. "Jack" a Jack Russell Terrier, "Akido" a Yorkshire Terrier & "Skittle" one of his favorite cats. Water Features are located at each end of the garden.Thank You To All Who Made This Possible
