Lord,
Teach Me to Pray
Our study series for Lent
this year is entitled "Lord, Teach Me to Pray," and will be led by Rev.
Ruth Solo, our senior pastor. The study will center on the book
Prayer Paths of Jesus, by John Indermark.
We will gather each
Wednesday from March 8 through April 5 for a potluck meal from 6:00 to
6:30 p.m. From 6:45 to 7:30 we will study and practice the
discipline and joy of prayer, in an effort to lead into spiritual growth
and renewal.
While the adults and youth
join in this Lenten Study, children will have the opportunity to learn
and grow in their own group through "The Greatest Show on Earth."
All within the space of an hour, they will watch a video, have popcorn,
hear a story, and make a craft. What will they be learning?
About our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What will they think they
are doing? Having fun. Lent can be a time of Christian
education and preparation for your children, as well as for yourself.
