Introduction
This section will provide a general introduction and road map, and an
explanation of the emphasis in Methodism on tolerance of differing beliefs.

Scripture and Biblical Authority
This section will describe the range of beliefs within Methodism as to the
nature and authority of the Bible, with particular emphasis on the Wesleyan
Quadrilateral.

The Way of Salvation
This section will explain the Way of Salvation as outlined by John Wesley,
with particular emphasis on God's grace as the source of salvation; the various
ways grace works upon us and how we experience grace in the course of salvation;
the means of experiencing and participating in God's grace; and the realistic
hope of reaching "Christian Perfection" (or "Scriptural Holiness") in this life.

Holiness of Heart and Life
This section will explore the Wesleyan emphasis on maintaining a balance between
Holiness of Heart (that is, trying to maintain spiritual purity -- the more
extreme expression of which is withdrawal from "corrupt society," as for example
in the Amish tradition), and Holiness of Life (that is, working for social
justice for all -- the more extreme example of which may be any public welfare
agency).

Social Justice
This section will outline the roots and continuing nature of Methodism as a
social justice movement.

Personal Encounter
This section will describe the Wesleyan emphasis on immediate, transformative
personal encounter with God, as when John Wesley's "heart was strangely warmed"
as a Moravian worship meeting in Aldersgate Street.
