Local Courts and Public Records

Deed and mortgage records are maintained by the Montgomery County Recorder, and tax records by the Montgomery County Treasurer and the Montgomery County Auditor.  Birth and death records are available from the Montgomery County Combined Health District.  Bankruptcy records are available from the United States Bankruptcy Court.  The Dayton Law Library Association has also created a very helpful contact list for public offices in Montgomery County.
