Harvest Dinner is Tonight!

Join us at the Harvest Dinner for turkey and all the trimmings today!  Doors open at 5:30 pm, with dinner served at 6:00 pm.   The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 6-12 years old. Proceeds will go to Trinity’s Music Committee to help with the purchase of new music and instruments.

Everyone is asked to bring a side dish (potluck) to round out chef Mike Peterson’s delicious main courses of roast turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli with Hollandaise sauce, and cranberry sauce. Rolls and beverage are provided. If your last name initial is A-M bring a salad, and N-Z bring a dessert.

Our Choir, who has organized the event, will perform before, during and after dinner.  We look forward to sharing this fun and traditional event with you!

Stewardship Brunch

Next Sunday all are invited to a free brunch prepared by our Boy Scout Troop, so let's support them. Please join us in celebrating the love.

Advent Task Force Gets to Work!

Trinity folks are already hard at work planning another beautiful Advent season

Our task force met last Monday to begin discussing all aspects of worship, including:

· Seasonal theme

· Liturgical arts

· Music

· Special services (Blue Christmas, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service)

This very special season means we need lots of extra helpers!  Can you:

· Help decorate the church on Hanging of the Greens Sunday (November 29).

· Serve coffee, be a greeter, or usher

· Help in the office with extra tasks.

· Help un-decorate on Sun. Jan. 10.

Signup sheets are in the Fellowship Hall - please take a moment to see where you can help. Thank you for being and part of Advent at Trinity!

Walk-N-Talk With Ralph Steadman

This week a new opportunity comes to Trinity as Ralph Steadman begins leading, “Walk –n-Talk”, every Monday, Wedneday., and Friday. The purpose is to offer the opportunity to get a bit of exercise while talking about things we find interesting. Ralph will lead two groups this week; 7am and noon, (MWF), which will help us discover which time seems to work for the most people. You will be walking “Laps” inside the church from the Fellowship Hall past the Sanctuary down the hall leading past the old chapel, then passing the Sunday school rooms, and back to the Fellowship Hall. Each session will last an hour but you may come for any time you wish. On the days it is nice we will walk outside.

Ralph will be walking and talking with himself with or without you. So if you are interested in some exercise and some conversation three mornings a week Ralph will be at the North End of the Fellowship Hall today after the service to talk about this new opportunity here at Trinity. (The truth is Ralph needs to take walks because of his recent by-pass surgery and he didn’t want to walk alone…he is a bit of a pansy that way.)

Walk-n-Talk with Ralph Steadman 7 AM and noon this week. Join Ralph for what is sure to be a nice way of getting the day rolling.

Adult Bible Study!

It’s not too late to join in our Adult Bible Study class!  The class is taught by Jerry Holloway and meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm in the Fireside Room.

Study books are $6 for regular print, and $6.50 for large print.  We have a few extra regular print copies, and can order more!

Preserve Your Memories!

Did you take any fun trips this summer?  Did your family celebrate any special occasions such as a wedding, graduation, or birth of a new child?  If so, you have memories to preserve!

Now that Fall is almost here, Trinity’s Scrapbooking Group is back in action.  The group will meet this Friday at 5:00 pm in the Fireside Room.

Table space is free!  All are welcome - from beginning scrapbookers to experts!  Feel free to invite a friend!  Questions?  Contact Toni in the church office at 688-3269
