PURPOSE & OPPORTUNITIES

Purpose

The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  For more information, visit the National UMW Web Page.

Mission Opportunities:

Local, state, national, and world missions; UMCOR; charity circle; scholarships

Activities and Programs:

The UMW meet regularly in five Circles.   When you join the UMW you will become a member of one of these Circles. 

 

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES

Koinonia Circle meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM.

Hope Circle meets the first Thursday of the month at 9:30AM.

Gleaners Circle meets the first Thursday of the month at 10AM.

Sisters of Faith Circle meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30PM.

Piecemakers Circle meets every Tuesday at 9AM.  They are crafters for the Holiday fair.

 


Meetings are at the Church unless otherwise stated.
