teaches basic reading and writing as well as English as a Second Language
to adults of Henderson County. Those who lack these abilities are
at a profound disadvantage in our society. You can help by becoming
a volunteer tutor. You need no teaching experience or knowledge of
another language. There are several tutors in our congregation at
present. Talk to them, or for further information, call the council
at 696-3811.
