Habitat for Humanity
UM Churches form a Joint
Project
United Methodist Churches
in this area, about eleven, are joining to build a house at the new
Habitat location in Edneyville.
Volunteers will build framing in the Habitat Warehouse on
Keith Street in Hendersonville.
Crews of about 10 men and women will be needed for the
Tuesdays of February 21st,
28th and March 7th, and 14th.
Erection of the walls and
roof are planned for Saturday March 11th at the Edneyville site. This
will be a “blitz” approach
with a 20 to 30 person crew for the morning and a similar afternoon crew.
Hopefully, some lunch will
be arranged for both crews.
Some Tuesday work on the house is likely to follow.
