Welcome to the web site for Epworth United Methodist Church.
It is a real privilege to lead this historic congregation (Began in 1850 and at
present site since 1896) as we serve in the twenty first century.
We invite you to join us for worship, missional service, or
fellowship opportunities. You will find many of these offerings listed on this
web site.
Our facilities are located in the historic Freemason
district in the heart of down town Norfolk. We invite our neighbors and region
to Worship and serve God with us. We are conveniently located near the
interstate system. In addition to our parking lot there
are city parking garages located across the street and within a
brief walk to Epworth.
I invite you to take some time to check us out, I hope
you will catch our hope for the future, our heartbeat for the present,
and our heritage that we are building on.
Epworth is a friendly and welcoming Church in a growing and
devloping downtown location. If you have questions or comments you are invited
to stop in, email us, and/or call 757 622 2970.
Thanks for spending this time with us and I look forward to
greeting you in person at Epworth! For you I pray,
God's Richest Blessings, Rev. Myron I.
Simmons, Pastor
