Epworth United Methodist Church celebrated its 100th anniversary this
year!
Epworth's Centennial Celebration was held on July12, 2009.
All celebrants enjoyed reminiscing with friends, past and present. After the
service all enjoyed a special catered meal. A booklet
with pictures and stories from the last 100 years was available to all. Many
visitors took home a Centennial Plate, with pictures of the old church and the present church.
We have a few remaining, in case you missed getting one.

The Epworth Cook Book, a collection of old family
recipes as well as new ones, was put together by the members of the church.
Many visitors purchased this wonderful collection, and will be enjoying these
great recipes. A few remain, and are available for purchase for $10.00 each.
We collected over 250 photos of "old-timey" pictures and past and
current activities. Many member's photos from personal collections were
assembled into a presentation that was shown before and after the Centennial Sunday's
service. This presentation was made available on CD, for playing on a
computer. We have some remaining CD's available for purchase that contain the presentation.
