Our mission as a church is to spread the
good news of Jesus Christ. And that all
who attend our church will be well fed, nurtured in worship,
Bible study, and
friendship through our witnessing, missions, serving and
discipleship.
Our present membership is 49 ; however, we are in a summer
resort area and in the summer the attendance can double.
Our church members - Youth and adults participated in mission
trips and mission projects. In 2004 we participate in 28
different mission programs and projects.
Members have gone to Florida to help hurricane victims,
to Illinois to help flood victims, the youth went to New
Mexico and did Bible school on a Indian reservation. We
participate in Franklin Graham's Christmas Shoe Box program
for children and our local pantry, which provides food and
clothing for those in need locally. The United Methodist
Women do cookie plates for the patients in the Medicare
Facility in Newberry MI at Christmas and food baskets for
the needy and Thanksgiving and Christmas.
